Flat tyre with no spare wheel: what to do
More and more modern cars come without a spare wheel. Here's what to do when you get a flat and there's no spare in the boot.
Run-flat tyres
If your car is fitted with run-flat tyres, you can drive up to 80 km at 80 km/h after a puncture. Head straight to a garage.
Tyre repair kit
Many cars come with an inflation kit. Inject the sealant, inflate the tyre and drive a few kilometres to seal the puncture. Replace the tyre as soon as possible.
Roadside assistance via FastAssist24
If the kit doesn't work or damage is too severe, request help via FastAssist24 — a partner in your area can assist.

Frequently asked questions
Can I drive on a flat tyre?
Never on a conventional flat tyre. Run-flat tyres allow limited driving after a puncture — check your vehicle manual.
